Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion Provost Rabbi Andrea Weiss will share her thoughts on Torah and more during a special study session in honor of the installation of Temple Shalom of Newton Rabbis Laura J. Abrasley and Allison Berry.

Rabbi Weiss is the first woman to serve the Reform movement in this capacity. She previously served on the faculty of HUC-JIR’s rabbinical school as an associate professor of Bible and was co-editor of “The Torah: A Women’s Commentary.” The study session will include breakfast.

The event is free, but registration is required.
