Renan Koen, a famous Turkish-Jewish pianist, will be playing select pieces from her Holocaust remembrance album “Before Sleep,” featuring works by composers who continued to create music in the Theresienstadt Concentration Camp during World War II.

This album was released on Nov. 24, 2015, the anniversary of the installation of Theresienstadt Concentration Camp (Nov. 24, 1941). “Before Sleep” documents the research conducted by Renan Koen into the life stories, ideals and works of composers who continued to create, notwithstanding the prohibitions imposed on them while being imprisoned in Theresienstadt Concentration Camp. In addition to outstanding works for piano and chorus, enthusiasts can also lend an ear to real-life stories from the war and interviews with survivors’ families.

Limited seating available. Claim your ticket free of charge at http://bit.ly/renankoenpiano.
