Israeli Folk Dancing

Whether you are a beginner or experienced dancer, join us for a fun evening. We will learn the basic steps through easy dances of different styles. This Israeli dance workshop will introduce you to the basic steps with lots of practice and an emphasis on fun! 

 

Please wear sneakers or soft-soled shoes and comfortable clothes.

 

Anne Schwartz has been leading Israeli folk dance in the Merrimack Valley since 2010. She has been dancing since childhood and has studied many styles, including ballet, modern, jazz and swing. Anne is currently a member of Encore Dance Ensemble, a dance company in the Boston area. During the school year, she is a math tutor in the Salem public school system. She lives in Reading with her husband and daughter.
