As the founding artistic director of the Boston-based ensemble theater company Liars & Believers, Jason Slavick specializes in collaboration and innovative storytelling. He served as Gann Academy’s director of drama in Waltham for over a decade and has co-authored over a dozen plays, which have won awards and accolades in New York, Philadelphia and Boston.

Though trained in directing Shakespeare, Jason is hooked by the magic of puppetry, dance, masks, music and the joy of physical bodies moving in space. Currently, Jason is adapting a Holocaust memoir, “Letters From Prague,” into a stage play, a production that will bring journal entries, personal letters and other primary sources to life onstage.
