Lecture—The Six-Day War: 50 Years Later

Maimonides School presents “The Six-Day War: 50 Years Later,” a free lecture by Dr. Steven Bayme, one of the nation’s leading experts on America-Israel relations.

Dr. Bayme, who graduated from Maimonides School in 1967, is is director of the Koppelman Institute on American Jewish-Israeli Relations of the American Jewish Committee’s national office and is also director of its Contemporary Jewish Life Department.

Dr. Bayme holds an undergraduate degree in history from Yeshiva University and M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Jewish history from Columbia University. He has taught, lectured and written widely, most recently an essay entitled “American Jews and Jewish Peoplehood” in the new anthology “Essential Israel: Essays for the 21st Century.”
