Tzedek Salons bring young Jews, in their 20 and 30s, together with social activists, policy-makers, attorneys and academics for casual conversations to explore cutting-edge issues facing our society and state today.

This month, we will speak with Boston City Councilor Lydia Edwards and Joel Wool, her director of policy and communications. We will learn about a new campaign to protect tenants and seal eviction records.

This month’s salon is a great follow up to our January salon, at which we discussed advocacy and housing inequality with Eric Shupin from CHAPA. However, you absolutely do not have to have attended our previous salon to engage in this conversation. We will continue to learn how we can take action to advocate for policies that will begin to address and prevent housing injustice.

Space is wheelchair accessible and light refreshments will be served. For accessibility and all other questions, please contact kaila@jalsa.org.
