Join us for a spectacular concert in support of Terezin Music Foundation commissions and Holocaust education programs around the world.

  • Andris Nelsons will conduct Boston Symphony Orchestra members performing “Overture for Small Orchestra” by Terezín composer Hans Krása (Terezín 1943-44).
  • Annette Miller will perform Terezín composer Viktor Ullmann’s dramatic setting of Rainer Maria Rilke’s wartime prose poem, “Cornets Christoph Rilke” (Terezín 1944), with pianist Vytas Baksys and magnificent original set designs by painter Daniel Ludwig.
  • Members of the BSO will perform André Previn’s 2018 TMF commission, “Quintet for Horn and String Quartet,” one of the maestro’s last works.
  • Norman L. Eisen, former U.S. Ambassador to the Czech Republic, will receive the 2019 Terezín Legacy Award, presented by George and Liz Krupp​.

The program opens with a candle-lighting by survivors, liberators and veterans.

Join us for a reception at 5 p.m., followed by the concert at 6 and a benefactor’s dinner with the artists after the show.
