Gather with us onsite or online for Qabbalat Shabbat. All are welcome to join this service full of prayer, meditation, and music!
We welcome guest scholar Dr. Rachel Fish for an evening of dynamic study. During our Shabbat together, Dr. Fish will present her talk, “How Worried Should American Jewry Be About Its Future?” She will address the complex and evolving landscape the American Jewish community is navigating, facing both external challenges—such as the rise of Jew-hatred and the politicization of Israel—and internal challenges, including generational shifts in attitudes toward Zionism, the concept of Jewish peoplehood, and perceptions of Israel’s conflicts with its neighbors.
Dr. Fish’s talk is sponsored by the Center for Adult Jewish Learning.
To join our community online, visit us on YouTube, Facebook Live or Temple Israel’s livestream.
