Family Table, the food pantry at Jewish Family & Children’s Service, provides nutritious groceries to hundreds of families in Greater Boston and the North Shore each year. The largest fundraiser of the year for Family Table is coming up! On Oct. 2, Family Table will participate once again in the Ride for Food, an annual cycling event that raises critical dollars for hunger relief.

Sponsored by Three Squares New England, the Ride for Food brings together local food pantries such as Family Table, giving them a chance to raise money for their own organizations. Last year our team raised $68,000 and our goal is to raise even more this year—all to provide healthy food for those in need.

Inflation has only worsened food insecurity in our community. Nutritious, affordable food is becoming harder to secure for families and individuals alike. Every $1,250 raised will help Family Table provide groceries to one family for a year. We are grateful for your support as we work to fight food insecurity. Please join our team or donate today!

Not a cyclist? You can Walk for Food too! Fundraisers have the option to walk a scenic 5K course on the Noble and Greenough School’s cross-country trail, guided by volunteers.

The event is great for families, a wonderful opportunity to raise money and cycle together in support of a critical cause. No matter what activity you choose, you can join the Family Table Ride for Food team or donate to our Family Table team today.

Please contact Bernice Behar for more information.
