No matter your background, religious practice, or political perspective, this remains a profoundly difficult time for the Jewish community. As we approach the second anniversary (yahrzeit) of October 7, many of us are still struggling to process both the events of that day and the new reality in which we find ourselves.
JF&CS is offering opportunities for connection and support—a chance to reflect, remember, and care for one another as we mark this painful anniversary.
Two support circles—one in person and one on Zoom—will provide safe, respectful spaces for participants to share their thoughts, feelings, and challenges. Despite our differences, we will strive to listen deeply and to be heard in return.
The groups will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 12 p.m. on Zoom and on Sunday, October 19, 2025 ,at 7 p.m. at Mayyim Hayyim, 1838 Washington St., Newton.
To preserve the intimate nature of the circles, space will be limited. Please register for the date and format that works best for you.
If you have any questions, please contact Rabbi Allison Berry at aberry@jfcsboston.org or 781-693-5619.
About Circles of Connection
Circles of Connection uses an evidence-based, trauma-informed model to help us feel seen, heard, and supported as we process the stress and anxiety of our challenging world. It is offered in partnership with JF&CS, JCC Greater Boston, and GPS Group Peer Support and made possible through grant funding from Combined Jewish Philanthropies, The Beker Foundation, and the Ruderman Family Foundation.
