In the tradition of Congregation Shalom’s founding families, our High Holiday services are open to members and non-members alike, no tickets needed. If you are looking for a spiritual home during the High Holidays, you are welcome to join us for one or more of these services led by Rabbi Shoshana Perry, with Meryl Gold as cantorial soloist.

- 8 p.m: In the Erev Rosh Hashanah service and the oneg which follows, we welcome the new year 5779.
- 9 a.m.: In the family service Rosh Hashanah Day 1, we use a prayerbook for children from 8-12 years old. We will use traditional melodies and maintain a sense of sacredness but will have a shorter sermon that speaks to all members of the family. Please note that this service is not for younger children, who are very welcome at the afternoon young children’s service.
- 11 a.m.: The adult service for adults and teens.
- 2:45 p.m.: The young children’s service is for children from toddler through about age 7 with accompanying family members. Like the monthly Tot Shabbat service, this service with stories, songs and prayers is experiential and lasts about 45 minutes. Young children are also welcome at the 4 p.m. Tashlich service.
10 a.m.: Second day adult service is smaller and more intimate.
If you would like to attend a service but cannot be there, tune into our live stream on the Congregation Shalom Worship page.
To request special needs seating, handicapped parking or use of a listening device for one or more services, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the specific services and the special need.
