Reflection and introspection are an important part of preparing for a transformative journey during the High Holidays. Selichot are prayers of forgiveness. Coming together for Selichot services, traditionally held on the Saturday evening before Rosh Hashanah, supports this preparation.

Congregation Shalom is hosting a welcoming Selichot program called “Broadway’s Insight for the New Year,” led by Rabbi Shoshana Perry and member Lynne Rothstein. Since returning to your soul is an important theme during the High Holidays, why not let beloved, familiar Broadway tunes help bring you home? “We hope that this program, filled with music you love, will inspire you and uplift you at the same time,” says Rabbi Perry. “There is no need to be musical to participate.”

All interested are welcome to attend to help enrich their High Holiday experience. To help with food planning, please RSVP to office@congregationshalom.org (encouraged but not required).
