REELAbilities Boston Disabilities Film Festival will present Anita on Wednesday, February 5 at 6:30pm at the Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center (333 Nahanton Street) in Newton. Anita is the story of a young woman with Down Syndrome who is tragically left alone. She wanders the city of Buenos Aires looking for her mother, learning to care for herself and touching the lives of others. The film is in Spanish with English subtitles. A reception will be held at 6:30pm, followed by the film at 7pm, and a panel discussion and dessert at 8:45pm. Sponsored by CJP Disabilities Committee. No charge. Recommended for ages 13+.
