“Songs of the Jewish Soul” featuring works by beloved Jewish music composers Salomon Sulzer, Ben Steinberg, Yehezkel Braun, and Max Helfman, will be featured at Koleinu’s Annual Spring Concert. Temple Isaiah’s own Cantor Lisa Doob, and special guest artist the lyric tenor Cantor Michael McCloskey of Temple Emeth, Newton, will also perform with Koleinu. Their repertoire will include Judith Shatin’s powerful setting of Psalm 23, Rachelle Nelson’s majestic Se’u Sh’arim and Robbie Solomon’s warm and playful Anim Z’mirot. The concert will also feature musical selections performed by Koleinu’s accompanist and accomplished pianist, Dr. Victor Cayres.
