A unique program of creative Jewish learning designed to enrich the lives of young children and their families. Join us to explore the year through Jewish eyes with music and movement, stories and art focused on Jewish holidays and values. The perfect introduction to your child’s formal Jewish education. The whole family is welcome!
Our teacher for this class is the talented Mindy Elins. Mindy holds a master’s degree in expressive therapies from Lesley University, certification in early childhood education from Hebrew College and a graduate fellowship in leadership education from Brandeis University. Sharing the arts with young children is one of the cornerstones of her teaching and she infuses Temple Tots with music, puppetry, movement and storytelling. The arts motivate children to sing, dance, put on puppet shows, create their own art explorations and tell their stories. Mindy has taught Temple Tots at Temple Beth Shalom for many years. She is a preschool teacher at Temple Beth Shalom and also teaches at congregations throughout the Boston area.
