The Zamir Chorale of Boston will hold auditions. In addition to the audition, candidates are required to attend two open rehearsals: Sept. 15 and 22. An orientation session for those auditioning will be held at 6:30 p.m., just prior to the open rehearsals. More details are here.
The 60-member adult chorale, dubbed a “virtuoso outfit” by The Boston Globe and recognized by the American Record Guide as “America’s foremost Jewish choral ensemble,” has remained committed to the highest quality performance of music spanning thousands of years, four continents, and a variety of styles, both popular and classical. Under the direction of founder and artistic director Joshua Jacobson, Zamir performs concerts in the Greater Boston area and throughout the Northeast. A typical season comprises 8-10 performances.
