Please join us to celebrate the opening of “Psalm 27: A Dialogue with Text and Art,” which features works by 18 artists responding creatively to this timeless biblical poem. The invitational exhibit truly underscores our mission to offer creative methods of learning and exploring Torah as well as other Jewish texts and history.
“Each artist encounters Psalm 27 in their own unique way,” says Hebrew College Arts Committee Chair and contributing artist Deborah Feinstein. “All reach into themselves to seek connections with their traditions or spiritual pathways or universal thoughts. It is a broad, enveloping exhibition.”
- 5 p.m.: Doors open for guests to peruse the exhibit and enjoy light refreshments
- 6 p.m.: Speaking program begins, including reflections by Hebrew College faculty about the dialogue between art and text
