This course covers the history of Israel from 1948 to the present. Topics include the early years of the State of Israel, Israeli culture, the Six Day War, the West Bank settlements, Israeli Arabs, the PLO, the Yom Kippur War, the Israel-Palestinian peace process, and the prospects for peace.

Taught by Dr. David Ariel.
