The Israeli Healthcare System: Achievements and Challenges

Prof. Arnon Afek is the Acting Associate Director General of the Israel Ministry of Health (MOH) and Chairman of the Department of Medical Administration. Previously he was the Director General of the Israel MOH as well as a member of the Bureau of Governors of the OECD Health Committee. Prof. Afek is also the Director of the NY/American MD Program at Sackler School of Medicine Tel Aviv University.
In this presentation, Prof. Afek will discuss Israeli achievements in healthcare, current challenges that Israel and other countries continue to face, and how Israel relies on technology and innovations to meet those challenges.
