The Rekindling of Jewish Life in Ukraine

A short film depicting the rebirth of the Jewish community in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine and the role the Boston Jewish community has played in its revitalization will be shown at Young Israel of Brookline (62 Green Street) on Tuesday, June 17 from 2-4pm. Beth Moskowitz, immediate past chair of the Jewish Community Relations Council’s Dnepropetrovsk Kehillah Project, member of Combined Jewish Philanthropy’s Overseas Commission, and ADL Board Member, will lead a discussion after the film. The event is part of the JCC Without Walls program, a collaboration of Congregation Kehillath Israel, the Jewish Community Centers of Greater Boston, Temple Ohabei Shalom and Young Israel of Brookline to serve the needs of senior adults with funding by Combined Jewish Philanthropies.
