Friday, Dec. 9, 6 p.m: Onsite and online. Our 5783 Scholar-in-Residence Weekend featuring Dara Horn begins at Qabbalat Shabbat when Dara Horn will deliver her opening lecture titled “Agreeable Jews, Dead Jews, and the Challenge of Diversity.” Registration not required for this event.

Saturday, Dec. 10:

9 a.m.: Torah study followed by teaching session with Dara Horn (“Does Holocaust education prevent antisemitism?”). Onsite and online. Registration not required for this event.

3 p.m., Study session (Yiddish storytelling) with Dara Horn followed by Havdalah. Onsite. Please register to attend.
