“Advanced Style” examines the lives of seven unique New Yorkers whose eclectic personal style and vital spirit have guided their approach to aging. Based on Ari Seth Cohen’s famed blog of the same name, this film paints intimate and colorful portraits of independent, stylish women aged 62 to 95 who are challenging conventional ideas about beauty and aging.
Ari Seth Cohen’s started his Advanced Style blog and photojournalism in 20XX by “roaming the streets of New York looking for the most stylish and creative older folks who live life to the fullest and can teach us all that personal style advances with age.” He followed up with his book of photos “Advanced Style” and in 2014 his film “Advanced Style” was released to international acclaim. General admission tickets are available for $10. Visit http://www.remarkablepeople.org to order tickets.
