Join us for a soulful beginning to the High Holy Days with an evening of meditation, learning and inspiring prayer. The early Selichot gathering at Hebrew SeniorLife will include learning, Havdalah and Selichot with Rabbi Jim Morgan. Later at TBZ, the evening continues with Nishmat Hayyim (Breath of Life) meditation, followed by learning with Rabbi Elie Lehmann, Director of Hadar Boston. In “Opening the Gates with Love: Chesed at the Heart of Our Prayers,” explore how the opening lines of the Amidah connect our personal prayers to the acts of love and compassion that sustain the world, offering a meaningful lens through which to approach Selichot and the Days of Awe. The evening concludes with Selichot led by Rabbi Ebn Leader.
