JCAM is hosting a day of celebrating the cultural diversity of East Boston with dance and music. Kosher, food trucks, ethnic foods and fun for all ages! Boston Mayor Michelle Wu and other elected officials will be speaking to kick off this exciting, street party event.

Come back to Boston’s Jewish roots that began in East Boston in 1844 with the establishment of the first Jewish cemetery in Massachusetts.

East Boston at one time had a thriving Jewish community. The purpose for this event is for the Jewish community of Boston to come back to its roots and partner with the East Boston community in celebrating its rich diversity together! A guided tour of our historic cemetery and its chapel will also be taking place to learn about Boston’s Jewish community past and present.

There will be no parking on Wordsworth Street. Parking is limited on surrounding streets (i.e. Bennington and Byron Streets) and a limited number of parking spaces will be available at the Salesian Boys & Girls Club on Byron Street. Public transportation is recommended if possible.
