Introducing the CommUNITY Israel Dialogue: A Tribute to Shimon Peres
Featuring Nadav Tamir, former Consul General of Israel to New England and a senior advisor to President Peres
Join Greater Boston’s Jewish community as we launch the CommUNITY Israel Dialogue with a tribute to the life and legacy of former Israeli president and prime minister, Shimon Peres (z”l).
A member of Israel’s founding generation and an eloquent spokesperson for his country and for the Jewish people, Shimon Peres was a champion of peace, tolerance, and respect who was known for putting his strong sense of common humanity into action.
The CommUNITY Israel Dialogue seeks to engage Boston’s Jewish community in a thoughtful and respectful dialogue across diverse perspectives, while expressing support for a secure and democratic Jewish State of Israel. Visit the CommUNITY Israel Dialogue online to see how you can participate.
