About JCHE
Jewish Community Housing for the Elderly’s mission is to give older adults from all backgrounds the opportunity to age in community—to live a full life of connection and purpose in a dynamic, supportive environment by:

- Building connections and community within our walls and in our surrounding neighborhoods

Inspired by Jewish values while open and welcoming to the broader community, JCHE has been developing and managing supportive affordable housing for low-income older adults for 52 years. JCHE currently serves 1,500 low-income older adults, 900 of whom call our Brighton campus home. Here, the average age of residents is 80 (~one-third are 85 or older) and the annual median income of those who live in our subsidized units is $10,366 (93% of all residents).
About Cycling Without Age
Originally founded in Denmark, CWA is committed to helping seniors enjoy the “right to wind in your hair.” Cycling Without Age is a movement to connect volunteer cyclists with older adults for rides in specially designed trishaws that facilitate intergenerational connections and help increase access to nature for our older adults.
