Join with your friends at Kehillath Israel and Mishkan Tefila for a screening of the award-winning film from the National Center for Jewish Film, “Cuba’s Forgotten Jewels: A Haven in Havana,” followed by a discussion.

KI member Dr. Dalia Wassner, Ph.D., leads HBI’s Project on Latin American Jewish & Gender Studies and teaches “The Jews of Latin America” at Brandeis University. Dr. Wassner writes on feminist cultural connections between Jews and other minorities involved in Latin American processes of national democratization.
