Kabbalat Shabbat Services

Come celebrate our first Shabbat of 2017 with Rabbi Lila Kagedan at the Walnut Street Synagogue. Kabbalat Shabbat services start at 6:30 PM on Friday, January 27, followed by Shabbat dinner at 7:00 PM (please RSVP at info@walnutstreetsynagogue.com). Then join us on Saturday, January 28, at 9:30 AM for Shabbat day services.

We will have light traditional Kiddush at 11:45 AM.

The Torah Portion is Vayechi | ויחי | “He lived”

All food is kosher. We are an Orthodox community.

The event is free. We would gladly accept $10 donation for the dinner. Please donate prior to Shabbat.


Parking is available on Everett Avenue as well as the side streets around the synagogue.
