Luncheon Seminar: How Seniors Can Avoid Financial Scams

Harriet and Ralph Kaplan Estates, part of Chelsea Jewish Lifecare, will host a lunch and discussion with nationally recognized elder law attorney Steve Spano.

“We are thrilled to have Steve Spano share his considerable legal expertise,” said Megin Hemmerling, executive director of Kaplan Estates. “Steve possesses an impressive background in elder law as well as hands-on experience for over 35 years.” Spano holds an MBA, JD and CELA; he has served as president of the National Elder Law Foundation, the National Life Care Planning Law Firms Association and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Massachusetts Chapter. Velez added, “With so many financial and legal scams targeting our community today, this discussion is vital for area seniors and their families.”
