Magic, Miracles and Messiahs: The Supernatural in Jewish Tradition

This winter/spring, The Boston Synagogue will host “Magic, Miracles and Messiahs: The Supernatural in Jewish Tradition,” a new Me’ah Select course offered through Hebrew College.

Led by David Bernat, the 10-session class will study texts from different historical periods and explore topics ranging from exorcism and omens to the underworld and afterlife.

Classes meet Thursdays, 7-9:30 p.m., on Jan. 16, 23 & 30; Feb. 6, 13 & 27; and March 5, 12, 19 & 26, with snow days on April 2 & 23.
