Me2/Orchestra, profiled in The New York Times, is the world’s only classical music organization created for individuals with mental illnesses and their families and friends. Me2/Orchestra inspires audiences with its music and open discussion about mental health and provides a supportive, stigma-free setting for its musicians.

Several orchestra members will speak briefly about living with mental illness and will answer audience questions. Mr. Ronald Braunstein, a Juilliard graduate and the first American to win the von Karajan International Conducting Competition, will conduct works by Mozart and Elgar.

Open to the community.

Sponsored by the Temple Emanuel B’Tselem Inclusion Committee in collaboration with the Music Committee and K’sharim: Connecting People with Disabilities to Jewish Life.
