The mission of JF&CS Family Table is to end hunger in the Greater Boston Jewish community while serving those who need our assistance, regardless of religious affiliation. Family Table fulfills its mission by providing kosher food, creating a caring Jewish connection and empowering people to make healthy eating a part of their daily lives.

The Ride for Food, an annual cycling event, is the biggest fundraiser for Family Table each year. This year, it will feature the traditional Ride for Food cycling event on Oct. 3, but will also have an option called “Off the Beaten Path” for participants to independently undertake any activity they like to fundraise for Family Table. You can ride a bike, hike, run, swim, shoot baskets…the possibilities are endless! There’s also an option to walk a scenic three-mile course on the Noble and Greenough School’s cross-country trail, guided by volunteers.

No matter what activity you choose, you can join our Family Table Ride for Food team or donate to the Family Table team today. If you or members of your community would like to form a team to support Family Table, please contact Bernice Behar at bbehar@jfcsboston.org.
