Join the Vilna over coffee and babka for an interactive discussion on sleeping and aging with Erica R. Appleman, Ph.D., of the Boston University Alzheimer’s Disease Center.

Dr. Appleman recently completed her Ph.D. in clinical psychology. She previously worked as a postdoctoral fellow in neuropsychology at the Bedford VA Medical Center. In addition to clinical work conducting cognitive assessments with veterans, she is also engaged in research exploring successful cognitive aging and the early identification of neurodegenerative disease. Dr. Appleman is a former competitive synchronized skater and now enjoys coaching for a learn-to-skate program in the North End and Charlestown. She loves baking, running road races, traveling and exploring Boston’s neighborhoods.

Registration appreciated.

Co-chaired by Evvajean Mintz and Susan Rosen.

Seniors Connect! is especially for seniors in the Boston area who are looking to connect with other seniors for creative activities and resource sharing. We gather at the Vilna Shul monthly for compelling discussions and events that are relevant to seniors’ needs and life experiences.
