Due to  inclement weather the Feb. 13 Sip of Eser will be postponed, new date to be announced.

Join Eser and Moishe Kavod for new connections, great discussion and a preview of Eser’s spring programming.

The Jewish story is often an immigration story, a persecuted people forced to flee their homes. How does this Jewish experience inform the response of our community today to immigration reform? How do we balance Jewish values around welcoming the stranger with our desire to feel safe?

Guided by an Eser educator, we’ll take a nonpartisan view at immigration illuminated by modern and Jewish sources.

The event is for young adults in their 20s and 30s.

Drinks and snacks provided. Dietary laws will be observed.

Held at the Moishe Kavod House in Jamaica Plain. Address provided with registration confirmation.
