The laws of cooking and warming food on Shabbat are some of the most important yet complex we face in our observance of Shabbat. In this series, we’ll explore not only the practical dos and don’ts of bishul but also the background and details behind each law. We’ll focus on avoiding the prohibition in our own homes as well as understand the policies that will be introduced in the shul’s kitchen.
