Come and learn with rabbinic intern Hayley Goldstein, engaging in personal preparation for Elul and the coming Days of Awe through sacred song and text. We will explore, with the help of Rebbe Nachman of Breslov, what it means to make teshuva—return—to ourselves during this High Holiday season.
Some of the questions we will be thinking about are: How is the act of simply being present a radical act of teshuva? What does it mean to truly exist in the world? How can we declare ourselves “ready to exist” for this coming year? Drawing on each one’s life experience and valuing each one’s presence, all are most welcome.
