Moderated by Jeremy Burton, Executive Director, Boston Jewish Community Relations Council Ms. Gradstein reports for PRI’s The World, AOL News, Slate.com and the Media Line, a source for Middle East news that offers a shared narrative to Israeli, Palestinian, American and Canadian news services. For 19 years she served as Israel correspondent for NPR. She has a daughter currently serving in the IDF. She received a bachelor’s degree in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and a master’s degree in Arab Studies. She spent a year as a Rotary Fellow at the American University in Cairo and was selected to be a Knight Journalist Fellow at Stanford University in 1998-9. Fluent in Hebrew and Arabic, Linda Gradstein is uniquely positioned to offer a perspective on press coverage of Israel and the Middle East.
