Rabbi Jill Jacobs, executive director of T’ruah: The Rabbinic Call for Human Rights, is this year’s Cohon lecturer at Temple Sinai. Named three times to the Forward’s list of 50 influential American Jews, Rabbi Jacobs directs T’ruah, which mobilizes 1,800 rabbis and cantors and tens of thousands of American Jews to protect human rights in America and Israel.

Rabbi Jacobs is one of American Jewry’s leading social justice organizers today. She will speak on “How the Jewish Community Fights for Human Rights and Dignity.” All are welcome to join us.
