Join the Jewish Teen Education and Engagement Funder Collaborative, including CJP’s Teen Engagement Network, for the Youth Mental Health First Aid training.

This introduces participants to the unique risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems in 12- to 18-year-olds. The course builds understanding of the importance of early intervention and teaches individuals how to help youth in crisis or experiencing a mental health challenge.

Mental Health First Aid uses role-playing and simulations to demonstrate how to assess a mental health crisis, select interventions and provide initial help and connect young people to professional, peer, social and self-help care.

The full course includes two hours of pre-work, a five-hour training held over Zoom and a post quiz to receive your certificate. The training will include several breaks.

This training will be framed for Jewish youth professionals. Please reach out to Beth Lipschutz, YMHFA project coordinator, at beth@teenfundercollaborative.com with any questions.

This training will also be offered on April 13. Find that registration link here.
