Join us for a strategic art exhibit from CARAVAN on display at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul from Oct. 27 through Dec. 6. What can Abraham, Sarah and Hagar teach us today toward freeing our world from sectarian strife? That is the question this strategic exhibition attempts to answer.

“ABRAHAM: Out of One, Many” is an art exhibit focusing on what we have in common because of our ancestor in faith, Abraham, and what we can learn from the life and faith of Abraham, Sarah and Hagar about living together more harmoniously. The exhibit features art by three globally acclaimed Middle Eastern contemporary artists, one each from Christian, Muslim and Jewish faith traditions. Each artist has contributed five paintings that focus on five specific themes from Abraham’s life that can guide us today in our world. The artists are interpreting these themes for our contemporary context.

The Boston installation of this exhibit is a collaborative project of Cathedral Church of St. Paul, Central Reform Temple, Emmanuel Church and Ju’mah Muslim Prayer Gathering.

The opening night celebration is Oct. 27 at 4 p.m. The exhibit is open for individual or group visits from Oct. 28 through Dec. 5.
