Are we celebrating the revelation of Torah at Sinai or the wheat harvest? What is this holiday even about?! And what’s with all the dairy?!

20s and 30s are invited for a crash course in the background and basics of Shavuot, accompanied by beer-tasting and pretzel-baking to celebrate the wheat-y and witty aspects of this holiday.

Our session is part of Temple Israel of Sharon’s Tikkun Leil Shavuot, a series of all-night learning to celebrate the giving of the Torah.
