Exploring the Bible on Shabbat Morning

Become familiar with the Jewish Bible by a close reading of large selections in English, with attention by the instructor to what the Hebrew original might add to the translation.  The course addresses the reading of these texts so that we can not only make sense out of them, but also find some resonance in them with our own situation.  This ongoing class takes place each Saturday 11:00 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. at Temple Sinai, 50 Sewall Avenue in Brookline and is taught by Dr. Sandy Goldlfess, a member of Temple Sinai.   The community is invited to join us.
