In the first half of the shiur we will explore the concept and definition of makom through the sugyot of Kiddush b’mkom seudah and shinui makom in brachot, in the tenth perek of Pesachim. In the second section we will explore the relationship of those ideas to Makom in Mikdash, Yerushalayim, Shilo and the mishkan, as well as “Makom” as a name for Hashem.

This class is generously sponsored by Arlene Fruchter in memory of her mother, Ruth Fruchter, Breinle bat Ya’akov A”H.
