Join us in the TBZ sanctuary for a special morning meditation/mindfulness practice group event with guest teacher Miriam Smolover! This program is free and open to everyone and is graciously sponsored by Nishmat Hayyim of TBZ.

The month we are about to begin in the Hebrew calendar, Tamuz, holds the quality of seeing life as it is. We are challenged to see things as they are and not through the self-deceiving eyes of how we’d like things to be. Through alternating periods of chanting and meditation, we will strengthen our capacity for seeing clearly, bringing compassionate healing to our eyes and our self-awareness. This session will include time for intention setting, a healing circle, and a closing sharing.

Miriam Smolover has been leading a monthly chanting meditation group called Kol HaLev (Voice of the Heart/All of the Heart) for the last 18 years in the Bay Area in California. She received certification as a Morah L’Hitbodidut/Jewish Meditation Teacher from Chochmat HaLev in Berkeley, CA.
