Learn all the tips and tricks for planning and executing your genealogy trip to Eastern Europe from the initial idea to the practical details of arranging hotels, communication and transportation. Prepare for the places you’ll want to visit including cemeteries, archives and other repositories. Take advantage of the experience our speaker, Daniel Horowitz, has gained on his own roots trips to Poland, Ukraine, Lithuania, Hungary, Romania and beyond.

Mr. Horowitz is the genealogy expert at MyHeritage.com. He has dedicated himself to genealogy for 30 years and speaks at conferences around the world. He holds board positions with the Israel Genealogy Research Association and the International Association of Jewish Genealogical Societies.

Are you thinking about traveling to Warsaw in August for this year’s International Conference on Jewish Genealogy? Following Mr. Horowitz’s presentation there will be a panel discussion of what to expect at the conference and how to benefit from its many features to the fullest. You may wish to tour Warsaw or extend your travels to one or more of the guided trips around Eastern Europe that conference organizers will be offering before and after the conference. Panelists will include Daniel Horowitz and knowledgeable members of the JGSGB.
