Congregation B’nai Torah of Sudbury warmly invites the community to our Shabbat on the Beach services and open houses at the Wayland Town Beach (25 Parkland Drive, Wayland).

Prospective members are welcome to join us 30 minutes prior to each beach service to learn more about our congregations. Sand toys, bubbles, and sidewalk chalk await families with young children who would like to meet members of our temple(s) and learn more about our community.

  • Friday, July 8 at 6:30 p.m. (led by Rabbi Joshua Breindel of Congregation Beth El and Rabbi Louis Polisson of Congregation Or Atid)
  • Friday, July 22, at 6 p.m. (led by Rabbi Allison Poirier of Temple Beth Sholom)
  • Friday, Aug. 5, at 6:30 p.m. (led by Congregation B’nai Torah member Jeff Levine)
  • Friday, Aug. 19, at 6:30 p.m. (led by B’nai Torah’s Rabbi Lisa Eiduson with Rabbi Joshua Breindel of Congregation Beth El), including dinner from Mamaleh’s Delicatessen (see ordering info below)*

Bring your beach chairs (or blanket) and a picnic dinner, and enjoy the sunset while we share the beauty of Shabbat together as a community!

*Order your dinner online by noon on Aug. 19 (schedule your order for Aug. 19 and select the Wayland location from the suburban pickups dropdown menu and add it to your cart) and pick it up from the Mamaleh’s truck in the beach parking lot from 5-6 p.m.

Special thanks to the Mariasis Family for sponsoring the beach services.
