Join us for an exciting new class exploring Jewish questions relating to: How do we form and change traditions? What wisdom does Judaism have for how to approach challenging situations? What’s my role in the larger Jewish community? We will be learning in the SVARA-style (the yeshiva founded by Rabbi Benay Lappe, our 2022 Cohon Lecturer), which means we will be learning a short passage in its original Hebrew and Aramaic. If you know the Hebrew alphabet, the alef-bet, you can do it!
This class is designed to be accessible to people with all sorts of backgrounds and relationships with Judaism. The class takes place in the Weintraub Community Room and by Zoom.+ More... - Less...
