Hal Slifer, host of Chagigah Radio, welcomes Ariana Cohen-Halberstam as today’s guest DJ. Ariana is the artistic director of Boston Jewish Film and will choose music from the Chagigah music library and talk about Father’s Day.

Members of our Chagigah family of listeners will be calling in to share music requests for their favorite dads, husbands and grandfathers.

Rabbi Josh Breindel of Congregation Beth El of Sudbury will reflect on Father’s Day and the importance of family. He will introduce and talk about the Paul Simon tune “Father and Daughter.”

Michele Tamaren will talk about the Eddie Fisher tune “Oh My Papa” in her feature “The Message Within The Music.”

Rabbi David Meyer of Temple Emanu-el in Marblehead will showcase the music of Shlomi Shabat on his feature “Our Jewish Heritage and The Hits.”

Dr. Alan Kaplan will discuss the importance of Father’s Day and its Jewish celebration.

Chagigah Comedy will feature Jerry Seinfeld, and we will have mini concerts featuring Sasi Keshet and Yehudit Ravitz.
