Chagigah Radio host Hal Slifer continues his popular weekly music concerts with Rabbi David Meyer and Jon Nelson. The music of Meyer & Nelson have an organic spirit and innovative musical sound that has been lauded as a bright light in the contemporary Jewish genre. Their tight harmonies and warm, inviting delivery are reminiscent of the music of Simon & Garfunkel.

Dr. Alan Kaplan and Michele Tamaren will share thoughts and solutions to members of the community who feel isolated during the current COVID-19 pandemic.

Rabbi Josh Breindel of Congregation Beth El of Sudbury will honor Yom Ha’atzmaut, Israeli Independence Day, with reflections and music from the Chagigah Music Library.

With many Jewish weddings and bar/bar mitzvahs being canceled and postponed, two leading Jewish photographers from Massachusetts, Ken Berman and Mark Karlsberg, will share their experiences with our Chagigah listeners. Adding to this discussion will be a special virtual Jewish music wedding concert.

We’ll have fun with a parody of the song “Matchmaker, Matchmaker” brought up-to-date as “Mask Maker, Mask Maker” during Chagigah Comedy, plus we’ll feature the top tunes from the Israeli music charts.

Join us for music, humor and schmoozing on a Sunday morning!

To listen, tune into 88.9 WERS.
