Hebrew 101 for Adults is a special weekly class taught by Temple Beth Torah’s Rabbi Moshe. It is geared specifically for adults who want to learn or improve their Hebrew reading skills. The 45-minute class utilizes the book “Aleph Isn’t Tough” by Rabbi Linda Motzkin. Drop-ins welcome.

This book will develop the reader’s ability to decode written Hebrew words as well as to ground the learning of Hebrew in the broader sense of its use in Jewish life, ritual, study, and tradition. Afterward, put your new Hebrew reading skills to use at our Friday night Shabbat service.

Books can be purchased online here.
